Sausage and Bean Hot Pot

Sausage and bean pot. Serve with mash potato and vegetables.

Cook sausages in a large frying pan for 10 minutes and remove from pan.

In the same pan, fry onion and bacon for 5 minutes. Then add garlic and fry for another 2 minutes.

Next add passata, beans, paprika, sugar and seasoning and mix well.

Return sausages to the pan and simmer for 15 minutes.

SERVES 4-6
- 4 large sausages
- 1 medium onion, peeled and sliced
- 3 rashers of bacon, cut into strips
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 350ml of passata or a 400g tin of chopped tomatoes
- 1 (400g) tin of canneloni beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp sugar
